Out now: new small engine catalogue from NGK Spark Plug Europe

In time for the gardening and forestry season, NGK Spark Plug Europe has updated the Company’s small engine catalogue and added many new applications. The catalogue is now available through NGK distributors.

In spring, the main season for professional and hobby gardeners kicks off. Equipment is awakened from hibernation and must make prove itself again during the coming months. However, if engines have difficulties starting up after a long winter or if such problems occur later in operation, it is advisable to check the spark plugs and replace them with a new set if required.

Finding out which spark plug to fit to which gardening or forestry application is easy with NGK Spark Plug’s small engine catalogue 2011/2012. It lists 6,100 applications on 348 pages - 50 pages more than the 2009/2010 catalogue. Spark plugs and glow plugs can quickly be identified using the clearly structured applications charts, which separately list products for lawn mowers, chain saws, brush cutters, tools, gen sets and universal engines. Also, comprehensive cross lists enable users to find an NGK alternative for previously installed products from any other manufacturer.

The introductory pages to the application section were also revised to offer a wide range of useful information, e.g. about the identification marks on spark plugs, correct installation or the main characteristics of the available spark and glow plug types.

The catalogue is available for distributors and ready for download as a PDF from www.ngk.de. Alternatively, all applications can be researched using the online Product Finder at www.ngk.de.
